My Teaching Philosophy-

      We are all unique in many ways and one of my philosophies on teaching music is that each student will have a different path to take in order to fulfill the unique direction that they desire musically.  I've been fortunate to study with many great music professors, and I think we've all been able to learn from each other because of our unique and varied musical talents.  I believe all of us as music performance teachers consider ourselves to be students as well.  We all love to learn and share what we've learned from each other.  If I can instill into a student this desire to love music so much that they will thirst for more information, and be passionate about sharing what they've learned with others, then this will set a course of action that will last a lifetime.  Whether it's just to have great fun playing as a hobby, or become a professional musician that performs, composes, and teaches, it's my job to help the student find the right path.
